There are many fun parks in Toronto, one of my favourite being Horticultural Park. As a childless adult, I have visited there on a couple of occasions and had a great time. Whether you’re in the mood for a picnic, fishing, biking, hiking, swimming, shopping, scoping out urban wildlife, or just looking for some family time, there are so many great activities to keep your family entertained this summer in the Greater Toronto Area.

Rosie’s Place, a 100-acre park in Markham, is a great place to bike, hike, picnic and explore nature. Kids can explore the outdoor space and enjoy the playground and the wide variety of amenities and activities on offer.

Another great family-friendly destination is West Rouge Park in Scarborough.
